Triple 9 is a gritty cops-and-criminals thriller directed by John Hillcoat and featuring one of the most stacked ensemble casts of the past decade. The story follows a crew of corrupt officers, former cops, and military veterans who are forced into a dangerous heist involving a “Triple 9” police code, an officer-down emergency designed to draw the entire force away from their target.

In this Force Five video, I revisit Triple 9 for its tenth anniversary and give you five reasons it still deserves attention.
